waiting...

I'd love to tell you all where and when we're getting married, but I can't. Not because I want it to be surprise or something crazy like that, but because I don't know. I've been waiting for the church to reply with the OK to have my wedding on the date I chose. Until then, I cannot chose a reception place either. I'm not gonna lie, this waiting is giving me an anxiety attack. I've left voicemails and everything. Just cross your fingers and pray that they get back to me. I'd love to get started on planning things for real instead of dreaming and printing out pictures of wedding related things i love. (though that's pretty fun too!) I must be patient. Everything happens for a reason.

Patience is virtue. One I am very familiar with.

Miracle Mile Tickets

I've gone to Miracle Mile in Coral Gables countless times in the past 5 months. When I go there I'm on the hunt for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I am notorious for getting parking tickets. Since I've been engaged I've gotten about 7 parking tickets. I'm pretty sure Danny wants to chop my head off. Not really, but he doesn't think I should be so careless about it. Which is true. These last two tickets i got are about a week apart and in my defense-I put money in the meter..but it just wasn't enough I guess. I'm going to have to get like $20 in quarters to stay clear of the wandering cops. ::shrugs::

Engagement Photos

This past April I asked my youngest sister Enamarie and her friend {now our friend} Carmen to take our engagement photos! They are two very talented young ladies. I had asked them to take our photos at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair. It was the closest thing to the kind of carnival I wanted. The reason I chose this 'theme' is because it was Danny and mine's first date! We had some much funthat day. It was full of hope, excitement and nervousness. hehe. Also, because Danny used to be OBSESSED with the fair as a young boy which makes me love him more for it. :)
Danny and I love how the photos came out and can't wait for the album to be printed. It was so nice of them to do this for us and I'd recommend them to anyone any day. So if you're in need of some awesome photography call em up. Seriously. Here are some photos:

Contest

About a month ago, Danny and I entered a Crate & Barrel Ultimate wedding contest. Neither of us had ever entered a contest like this before, but we went for it anyway. We didn't win but it was so heart warming knowing of all the people that did vote {71 votes total}! It just showed me that they wanted me to have the wedding of my dreams too and that was an awesome feeling. Here's the link and photo:

Danny is a Marine/Firefighter hispanic boy. I'm an student/artist hispanic girl. Danny and I met at church a few years back, and were always good friends. This good friendship became something more two years ago {May 9,2008} and now we're in love and about to get married in a few months. {high5 anyone?!} I'm so happy to have this journey with him!
