we're out.

These past couple of days have been crazy. We had to move out of our apartment this week. The closing was schedule for today, but last minute Tuesday we found out closing was changed to Wednesday. You can imagine the frenzy...especially since Danny has been working like crazy. My Mom, Danny's Mom, Enamarie and Bryan helped move all our unmoved/sold items. Danny and I have sooo much stuff, its amazing. Anyway...Danny and I drove to Miami Lakes to sign all the paperwork and turn in our keys. It was really hard for us, but we know this is a new chapter in our lives and things can only get better.

Bardot with friends

Tonight my brother and I decided to hit up a Sirens and Sealions show. We picked up Chanti and Giovanna on the way which made the ride that much more fun. It had been a while since I went to a show (i'm a terrible friend) and I'm so glad I did. I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a really long time ( Jorge aka Jorghino aka Jorgie boy), LOOOVE that kid. I heard one of my favorite voices ever (Chanti). I was floored by Matt's guitar skills. Received hugs from Johanna. Again-  a good night.

forgive the photo quality, didn't have my camera on me. Phone takes pretty decent shots though...

Ultimate Frisbee

Happy Sunday everyone! Church was awesome today. I'm truly blessed by God with all the people I serve at church with. After church we usually go out to eat and then take part in CF Nap Time. haha Most of us wake up pretty early to be at the theater to set up for service, so a nap is def in order. After "the nap" we all agreed to meet up for some Ultimate Frisbee. It was a very competitive game! My team lost...i don't want to talk about it. All in all we had a great time!

moving out.

So, we're moving. We short saled our apartment. It was the wisest thing for us. If we would've stayed there we'd probably never be able to afford a house. You see, we got our apartment when prices were really high, so now its worth LESS than HALF of what we originally paid. Crazy. So, now we're moving to my parents' house for 6 months until we can find something affordable in Downtown (hopefully) to rent. We're excited to save up for our house-to-be! Saving is great when you dream!
Its a little sad leaving..especially since I got soo used to living in our awesome apartment (we worked hard to make it awesome)! I know God has something amazing in store for us, so our trust rests in Him. We've had amazing support from our small group, friends and family! (join a small group!)
Just wanted to keep you all updated. Especially since I tweeted about it without detail. ;)

lunch for one

I had some errands to run today...pack (we're moving. ill explain later), go to school...and thats it..but its taken all day! haha On my way home from school... i got hungry. I had only had Lucky Charms for breakfast about a millions hours prior. haha I decided to head over to Off the Grill for some healthier eating. I ordered a Fajita Steak burrito I guess... I say 'I guess' because I thought I was getting the Paleo version of the meal (no starches). Either way I was okay with what I got. I waited for my to-go meal and I was out. I had to meet up with Glennis so eating while driving was pretty much my only option. (not safe..i know.) It was delicious!

4th of July

This past 4th of July was so much fun! I think we found a new tradition. Next year it'll be a little more planned out in spending the day there. Oh, and by there I mean Key Biscayne. I've been going every year to see Danny do the Honor Guard for the Annual local parade. Most of my family came with me this year and it was great. I really enjoyed it. The kids had a great time- especially since the fire deapartment brought out eh truck to "cool down" all the kids, and the Fighter Pilots made their fly by! My Dad was having the time of his life! He's a hardcore American and loves our country very much, and seeing the honor and respect it was given at the parade made him very happy. He rocked his Veteran hat and all! (love him) Danny's parents came also! Not sure if they had ever gone before, but they certainly enjoyed it. My sister and my cousin, Damaris were already planning next year's 4th of July. All in all I'm grateful for such a wonderful day!

fashion post: Kate Moss' wedding

"Kate Moss is officially a married woman. The bride wore a Gallianovintage-inspired, slim-fitting, floor-lengthdress featuring a smattering of sequins and delicate sheer panelling. Her hair was set in loose waves by Sam McKnight, and her minimal make-up completed by Charlotte Tilbury. Shoes came in the form of bespoke Manolo Blahniks. Hince chose a double-breasted Yves Saint Laurent suit. The newlyweds posed outside the church with their bridesmaids, who each wore pretty white dresses, ballerina pumps and a floral head garland."

She looks beautiful. Straight up. For a while I couldn't picture what her dress would look like. Now that I see the image it makes perfect sense. haha Good for her! I wish her a happily ever after.
