Tea Party Bridal Shower

This weekend was my bridal shower. It came out beautiful! Everyone did an amazing job at making this come together just as I had dreamed (as cheesy as that sounds) . A big thanks to my bridesmaids, family and dear friends! The shower was a Tea Party theme, and I had been gathering up ideas for it since my lovely friend Amy got married a few years back. I have to admit that I don't really like tea, sometimes... and thought it was really funny that I wanted to have such a shower. I love the idea of a tea party: the dresses, desserts, cups, flowers. Its all too precious.
I had an amazing time and can't believe it went by so fast! Here are some photos of the day. I need photos from everyone who had a camera that day! I must have more photos!

enjoy.

sneak peek

Here are a few images of our invitations in the process of being sorted for mailing. I know most people don't give invitations that much importance...but for me... I def do. I love paper, I love letters so naturally this part of the wedding would be one of my favorites. Designing it was great, getting my invites in the mail from Gilah Press in letterpress was even greater! I still have to photograph them with proper lighting. If any of you have tips on how to get the invites photographed properly, hook it up!

2 Months

2 months are left until our big day. Good grief! The bridesmaids have been amazing. They work so hard and show me how much they love us! We got together this past Saturday to make things for the bridal shower. I have to admit, I was all over the place (the FUS v. UM game was on, along with my nieces and nephews) but they kept it together. Here are some photos of that...
oo and on Friday, Eli+1 and Mailin accompanied me to do a trial updo at Avant Garde. Here's some pic lovin from that day...

its all coming together and this week is our last pre-marital counseling session! I can't believe it.
