Planning Sesh

Sunday's Bridal Shower planning evening turned out awesome! Mostly everyone showed up offering help. I am so grateful for my friends and family. We organized a lot of the tasks for the shower and delegated away! There is just way too much on my plate right now, so...with so much going on I'm grateful I can count on someone(s). School just started and its going to consume 90% of my time! We're also starting a new sermon series at church and adding on a Spanish service (huge!). insert song ::With A Little Help From My Friends:: I can't wait for the day!

etsy finds

I just purchased these fine items for our wedding. I'm really excited because I've had my eye on these little guys for a while now.. our colors are seafoam/mint green/blue (i know..its complicated) and grey. I absolutely love grey! I've managed to help Danny decorate his apartment with lots of it since he moved into it unintentionally. lol

Crossfit

Last May Danny and I joined Crossfit Kingdom gym in Kendall. This has been amazing for us. We both love and we both get a lot out of it. Everyone there is so encouraging and supportive. Its unlike any gym I've ever gone to. The coaches are constantly pushing us to do more so that we becoming stronger. This works out perfectly for us because we always talk about getting in shape before we get hitched. I even got involved in the Paleo Diet Challenge to push myself. (its been okay..) Lately, I've been going more than Danny because he's been at working a lot! Our friend Yannick recently joined too, so its kinda nice to see another familiar face. 

I can def see a difference in myself. I feel stronger everyday!

4 months.

Our wedding is in 4 months. I'm amazed at how quickly time has passed. Its time to get crackin'. Sunday August 22,  Danny and I will be hosting a small get together for our bridal party. Groomsmen at Danny's and Bridesmaids at my house. Hoping to get some ideas out with help. I'll post photos and names of our full bridal party after that. I'm kind of excited to do this! I've been dying to throw a small gathering with cute food and personalized stuff! Its gonna be cute. I'm sure the Groomsmen party will a bit manlier...

Honeymoon? Check.

This past Saturday Danny and I finalized our honeymoon adventure location! We heading to St. Lucia for 7 days. How exciting! This is really happening...gasp! Can't wait.

Photogrpaher? Check.

We've just booked our photographer! This is really happening people! I'm so excited. I never thought I'd be able to book Maloman for our wedding, and we did! Amen. He takes the most wonderful photographs, no joke. It all started with our friends Kristel and Alex, then with Elienai and Christian and recently Mailin and Roly. I can't explain the excitement/relief I feel knowing that Stephan will photograph our day and capture all those special moments throughout the night! That's a lot of trust on someone ;)

On the hunt.

I've been searching the internet for these lovely mason jars. I'll take what I can get as far as color (tinted blue or clear). I'll probably use both either way! I've found some online, but they are way too expensive. I've heard of people finding them for $1 each! So, I'm on the hunt people. If you find any for a good price...let me know asap.You have no idea how much you'll be helping me out. These spectacular jars will adorn the aisle for our wedding ceremony and if there are enough I'll use them to hang on the trees on our dreamy rooftop garden area (BOA Tower). help!
