Thankful

A few things I'm grateful for:

1. A loving husband.
2. My family. We go to the Fair, we have Saturday morning breakfasts, we celebrate birthdays, we go to Boomers and decide never to return. love them all.
3. God's grace with this weekend's amazing weather.
4. Pastor David's sermons- always hits the spot.
5. Tall Soy Chai Teas. Hot or Iced. yum!
6. Friendships that I know will last a lifetime. <3
7. Sunday morning conversations with Elizabeth Calle. She cracks me up.
8. Healthy Babies!
9. My Sister. She is one of the few who get to hear the crazy/absurd comments I make on occasion. "No one is gonna vacuum my skirt" & "He's two babies taller than me"
10. My Brother's sense of style. Not gonna lie-he knows how to dress.

Yep..I'm still working on this monster of a project. I love it though. I love packaging so far.  I have a lot to learn and can't wait to take Packaging 2!
Our project is 4 bottles, 1 box. Sounds simple..but not quite.

things i'll never have...

I was browsing thru matchesfashion.com today...for fun and no expectation of finding something to purchase. I like to dream... and well I found a few items I fell in love with.

1. Red Pumps , 2. DVF Heels , 3. Marc Jacobs handbag , 4. Sonia top

I know I'll never own any of these things in my lifetime, which is ok. There are so many reasons why I'm certain I'll never own them... here goes..

1.  I cannot afford it. Its expensive as heck. Power to the people who can.
2.  Sometime in the future I know I'll save money and have that moment where I can indulge...and won't use it for that expensive item...because I'll buy a plane ticket to an amazing location with my saved money. fact.
3. Who knows if I'll like it in the future... (i'm almost 90% positive I'll still love it, but 10% of me thinks I won't- which convinces me to not purchase)
4. I can probably find very similar object for MUCH MUCH LESS. fact.
5. They're just things.

When I think of it...sure I want them, just to say I have them (awesome labels)...but then again..they're just things and things don't go with us to heaven. So....Its not that important-not matter how fabulous. ;)


i think i rambled a bit... but I'm still sick and doing hw so bare with me...

I've been sick for a few days now. I haven't had the energy to sit up and write up a post...even now my head hurts like crazy... so this post may be brief.
Apparently, I have acute pharyngitis. The doctor prescribed with some antibiotics. They don't seem to be helping just yet....because I continue to have a fever, vomit, and SERIOUS sinus problems. Please pray for me. I hate being sick.

I tried to photograph myself but that's not gonna happen. I look like death.

Last weekend (sorry for the delay) i attended a bow party. If you're not aware, a bow party is where friends and family of the preggo get together and create all kinds of bows and headbands for the bun in the oven :) Elienai is just about due and I can't wait to meet Baby Eslie! I hope she likes all our bows! I fell in love with felt soooo most of my bows/headbands are made with it. lol Enjoy the photos! I wish I had more of the event but I was hard at work making my little boo's hair accessories. enjoy! (missed you Amysita and Chantissima!)

 

  

 

  

 

While taking a walk on Sunday...

today.

today has been my second long day and boy am I tired, like really tired! However...I remain glad for a few little delights today.

1. I took a short nap in the car before class and had some crazy dreams.
2. My professor brought us some munchkins and shortbread cookies!
3. I finished my copyright info for Your Mama's Wine.
4. Lunch was delicious (Danny and I made spicy ground turkey-kinda like a picadillo)
5. I have awesome friends.

I'm sure more delights are underway today, if you're having a long day- think of all the little things that brighten it up and make it bearable.
