I love inspiration boards- they open up so many possibilities! Here's one I just compiled for our wedding on photoshop (images are from everywhere.. i've saved images for almost a year now on a folder on my desktop..)

Garage Sale turnout

This past Saturday, we held our garage sale at Danly and Luis' home! They are experts at garage sales and know exactly where to strategically place signs and give items prices. Pros! We had a great turnout and lots of things were sold (amen!). Of course there were things that didn't get sold but I think we may have another sale in the near future to get rid of all the stuff. I don't have many pictures but i do have a photo of the wonderful signs we made (by we i mean Enamarie, Chanti, Lauren & Ashley Calle, Carmen and Little Wong). They were wonderful assistants. ;)

Big THANKS to everyone who donated items for this sale and HUGE thanks to Abella family! You have no idea how much of a blessing you are!

Danny and I cheer on the US

This past Saturday Danny and I hit up Fritz and Fanz for the USA vs. UK World Cup game. I don't think we've ever seen so much America in one place. haha People were dressed up like Uncle Sam and stuff. I normally go for Brazil, but when the US plays I'm with them. lol We had a great time watching the game together! I have to say that I love watching it with him, I feel totally included in the man time (if you know what i mean). Final score: USA and UK tied...which was crazy!

Garage Sale

We're having a garage sale to raise funds for our wedding. I have lots of junk i don't use anymore so it can't hurt to try and make some profit from it, right?

We have a date ladies and gents! God is good and it all worked out after some prayer. The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location- the Bank of America Tower in Downtown Miami! Danny and I fell in love with this place a few weeks ago and can't believe we got it. This building is one of Miami's landmark skyscrapers! On the 11th floor it has a sky terrace and lobby that is to die for! During the month of December it will be lit up in blue with snowflakes. How exciting! Let the planning begin!

Saturday was a special day. I found my wedding dress. I'm not going to lie but I almost gave up on the search. I was stressed and completely uninspired when came down to looking for it. Everything that I felt was perfect was completely out of price range. So my lovely mother Anita, precious sister, Enamarie and wonderful friend Chanti accompanied me to continue the search. We headed out to Chic Parisien on Ponce De Leon. I had visited this shop before and felt totally comfortable with the woman who helped me. Her name was Keidy. I recommend her to everyone, she's so awesome. Anyhoo...I tried on two dresses and decided on the second one. It was the shape I was looking for originally but I loved it despite. My mother cried (which was a sign haha) and my sister and Chanti loved it. All I can say about it is that its by Monique Lhuillier. I love her and never thought I'd actually get a dress designed by her. I immediately called Danny to let him know the news! Before we left home that day, my Mom prayed that we'd find something  and we did! God really answered our prayer because I had no desire or hope for a find. It just goes to show that He's there, answering my prayers one by one :)


so now i don't feel like this anymore... lol
